Who is responsible
WatchSure is an upcoming TV and movie tracking service. The data controller is the operator of WatchSure, reachable at the contact address at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store: your email address, your language, how you found us (if your browser passes it along), the date and time of your consent, and — only if you choose to upload it — your TV Time data export (ZIP file). Our hosting providers also keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service.
Why we process it
Legal basis: your explicit consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the checkbox on the form. Purposes: (1) running the waitlist — a confirmation email now and launch news later; (2) safekeeping your TV Time export so we can import your watch history into your WatchSure account when the service launches. We do not profile you, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
Where your data lives
Database and file storage run on Supabase in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland). The website is served by Netlify. Confirmation emails are sent — and messages you write to our contact addresses are received — through Resend (EU region). These providers act as processors under data processing agreements. We store your data in the EU.
How long we keep it
Until your history is imported into your WatchSure account at launch, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Signups that are never confirmed are deleted after 6 months. Uploaded exports are deleted after a successful import, or immediately on request.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, a copy of your data, or complete deletion at any time — one email to the address below is enough. You can withdraw your consent whenever you like. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date before it takes effect.
